KANSAS CORLEY, LCPC, CTC

PASTORAL CARE DIRECTOR

I’m here to help when you have trouble communicating in your relationship, so you can stop all the fighting and start finding hope.

Kansas Corley offers Christian Counseling for people in Owensboro, Hartford, and Online across Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and Missouri.

Hey, I’m Kansas.

I'm the Pastoral Care Director at Revive, and I work with Christians who are struggling with communication and infidelity problems in their marriage. My goal is to help you find peace and contentment in your relationship so you can learn to stop fighting about everything all the time.

FINANCES:

I am In-Network with the following insurance companies:

  • Anthem (Blue Cross Blue Shield)

  • UMR

  • United Healthcare

My private pay/out-of-network rate per session is $95.

MY APPROACH

I guide people toward figuring things out and watching their lives flourish. I’m here to celebrate the wins with you, and sit with you when you experience loss.

I’m blessed with a natural ability to:

  • Understand people's experiences

  • Help people feel comfortable

  • Uncover what's under the surface

  • Help clients heal their past and manage the present

Our Sessions are Focused On You

Counseling will provide you with the space to be understood and heard. In feeling safe and comfortable, you'll be able to gain clarity and feel what you need to feel.

It's important to me to create safety within our sessions, focus on setting goals, and work on reaching them together. There isn't a "one size fits all" approach to counseling. Our sessions will fit your specific needs and concerns. I’m here to take this journey with you.

People who work with me say I’m best at sitting with them when they’re at their worst, and hearing and understanding them when they’re in that space.

As a counselor, I embrace the following philosophies:

  • I believe you are worthy of love and care

  • I believe you can feel safe and free in your relationship

  • I believe emotions heal when they are witnessed and validated

  • I believe marriages become stronger when the parties learn to turn to each other for love and support instead of turning away in anger

  • I believe even if we feel like we've lost hope, it's possible to show up, commit to ourselves, and do what it takes to start feeling better

Helping people is a blessing. Being a Christian Counselor at Revive isn’t just a job; it’s a calling. The most rewarding thing about being a counselor is celebrating when my clients make progress and find that spark in their relationship again. I’m committed to guiding you to where things feel manageable again.

My journey to becoming a Christian Counselor

I’m no different from the clients I see. Like everyone else, I'm human. I've been through both wonderful and difficult experiences that have shaped who I am and how I help.

Over the course of my life, I've had wonderful people in my life who helped me become the person I am today. These people loved me, supported me, and pushed me closer to Christ. My hope, as a Christian Counselor, is to offer that same hope and encouragement to others on their journey to finding wholeness.

My life experiences are what lead me to become person I am today, and those experiences help me offer real insight for you.
