Revive accepts applications for the following positions at each of our locations:

Who We Are

Revive Counseling Center is a collective group of counselors, therapists, case managers, community support professionals, and Christians who are passionate about helping people find spiritual, emotional, and physical wellness. We don’t just show up to do a job, but we’re focused on the organization’s mission.

Revive is a non-profit dedicated to serving the community, not just billing the most client hours. If you’re a mental health or service professional who is looking for more, someone who is passionate about seeing the Gospel spread, and helping people find their worth and value while using exploring what that means in light of their faith, we want to talk to you!

We don’t want to things the way they’ve always been done.

Just because it’s been a certain way forever doesn’t mean it has to stay that way. We want barrier-breakers. We’re looking for counselors who walk the walk, not just talk the talk. We hire therapists who work hard to continue learning. We seek out professionals who are passionate about the people they serve. Revive is a team of people who feel this is where they belong and are not out looking for the next best thing. We are a team and a family who cares.

Who We Are

We’re a group of Christian believers who incorporate our faith into our work. Our clients come to us because we’re a faith-based organization. We believe and know theology and psychology don’t just co-exist, but rather work together.

You might like working at Revive Counseling Center if:

  • You value a family atmosphere. Office doors are always open (if you’re not in a session), and your co-workers might drop by your office to seek some input on a client they’re working with, or just to chat about your weekend.

  • You want to incorporate your faith in what you do. You want the opportunity to work with clients who are seeking Christian counseling, or people who just aren’t sure where they stand in their faith journey.

  • You want to know you’re part of something bigger than yourself. Revive Counseling Center isn’t just a brand name. It means hope for countless people. We don’t just depend on ourselves to help our clients. We depend on the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • You’re willing to do your own work. We value people who know they aren’t perfect. Sometimes this work causes us to recognize we need help in our own lives. We encourage you to seek out counseling and help for yourself when you’re struggling. And if you choose to share your challenges with your co-workers, we commit to praying for you in the midst of your situation.

  • You like to have fun. We’re not just here to show up, see some clients, and leave. We believe in laughing with each other. Sometimes it might be jumping out from behind a corner and scaring your co-worker and seeing their face, or a silly conversation in our group chat.

You might not like working at Revive if:

  • You don’t like working with high expectations. We want to be the best. That doesn’t mean we have to be perfect, but we do set high expectations that our counselors will offer services in accordance with what’s best for our clients. In other words, don’t phone it in.

  • You like to cancel on your clients frequently. We don’t want therapists who cancel appointments because you don’t feel like talking to your clients that day. Emergencies and situations happen, of course. Those are certainly understandable and we’ll work together to make sure you are okay. But it’s also important to remember our clients depend on us, so we can’t cancel appointments because we’re “just not feeling it”.

  • You’re disorganized. We have documentation policies and procedures we have to keep up with to keep in compliance with state and insurance company regulations. These policies aren’t here to limit us or to create more work, but rather to make sure we’re providing the best level of service to the people in our are. (P.S., Our requirement is that documentation must be completed within 48 hours of the client’s appointment. We don’t allow long outstanding lists of missing notes stretching back weeks or months.)

  • You don’t like working as a team and family. If you like to come in, see your clients, close your door while you’re working on your notes, and then leave for the day without another thought, you probably won’t enjoy our culture and you’ll find it hard to connect.

  • If you’re just in it for the money. We’re not here to get rich. We work hard to provide a fair and competitive wage, but if you’re in this just for the money you’re going to be disappointed. This doesn’t mean we pay poorly, however, we are looking for people who have a calling, not just people who are looking to collect a paycheck.

P.S. A lot of us at the practice are huge fans of the TV show, “The Office”. If you like to quote Michael Scott, you’ll find yourself in good company.
